"What is the outcome that I want with my posts? Am I posting on purpose ore am I just posting something when I feel like it or see something interesting?
Here is a short checklist of the things we take into account when producing a publishing schedule for our posts.
a) What is the outcome we want to achieve?
b) Create a profile of your average fan and tailor your posts to that fan profile. [ This is an important step people neglect ].
b) How often will we post? [ It is important that you do not post too often because fans get tired and leave but if you don't post regularly, then nothing will happen on your page. How often you post also depends on your niche. An example would be a sports page where fans want updates during or after a big game or event. So it is important to really think about this.]
c) 90 % of our posts will be images or videos – It just works
d) Have specific plans for specific days. We have special posts scheduled on Mondays ( just after the weekend), Wednesday's – a midweek post that might be a little longer and the Sunday evening post [ Just to let your fan know that your are thinking about him or her.]
e) Recycle popular posts – This is extremely important. Remember that Facebook works like a news feed and only a small percentage of your fans will see a specific post. So recycle your content by scheduling popular posts into your publishing plan.
These are just a few – So go and POST ON PURPOSE.
